2010 ARC Pinot Grigio is sourced from Vineyards in the Adelaide Hills in South Australian.

The fruit was crushed, chilled, gently pressed, then transferred to temperature controlled stainless steel vats where the wine underwent a controlled fermentation.

This is our first foray into making Pinot Grigio. For clarity, the French call it Pinot Gris, The Italians call it Pinot Grigio. Gris and Grigio are the respective French and Italian words for grey, the colour of the fruit. The French grow Pinot Gris in Alsace, where it produces wines that offer very full palates, with more complexity and some residual sugar.

The Italian Pinot Grigio is often lighter and crisper in style. There is a slight red-ish tinge to this wine imparted during the extended leas contact. The wine shows pears and dried apples on the nose. The pallet is crisp and lively

A perfect summer wine for Houseboating on the river or taking to the shack. The wine partners perfectly platters of Salt & Pepper Squid as the acid in the wine cuts through the oil of the disk

A young, refreshing wine with lively acidity.
